Another Close Look At Jesus Christ Sermon On The Mount

Yes, Jesus said that He didn't come to destroy the law and the prophets BUT to (fulfill). Once something is fulfilled, it is finished. Anybody who understand prophecy knows that. Once prophecy is fulfilled you don't wait around waiting for it to be fulfilled again. It is finished.
People see that Matthew 5:17 scripture and say, "See, He didn't change anything". Many persons who support tithing love to say, "Jesus didn't change the laws". I wonder if they actually read His sermon on the mount, He was changing all kind of things, in specific (things that were once laws).
Jesus said, ""You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, 'You shall not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.'" Law. Jesus went on to say, ""But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court; and whoever says to his brother, 'You good-for-nothing,' shall be guilty before the supreme court; and whoever says, 'You fool,' shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell" Matthew 5:21-22
Jesus said, "“You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.." Law. Jesus went on to say, "But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart." Matthew 5:27-28. He even went on to say in Matthew 5:31-32 "“Furthermore it has been said, ‘Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.’ But I say to you that whoever divorces his wife for any reason except sexual immorality causes her to commit adultery; and whoever marries a woman who is divorced commits adultery."
Jesus said, "“Again you have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform your oaths to the Lord.’" Law. Jesus went on to say, "But I say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is God’s throne; nor by the earth, for it is His footstool; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. 36 Nor shall you swear by your head, because you cannot make one hair white or black. But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one." Matthew 5:33-37
Jesus said, "“You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ Law. Jesus went on to say, "But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also." Matthew 5:38-39
Jesus said, "“You have heard the law that says, ‘Love your neighbor’ and hate your enemy." Law. Jesus went on to say, "But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike. If you love only those who love you, what reward is there for that? Even corrupt tax collectors do that much. If you are kind only to your friends, how are you different from anyone else? Even pagans do that. But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect." Matthew 5:43-48
When somebody referring to the law says that Jesus didn't change anything, remind them of this. These are only a few of the things. Jesus fulfilled the entire law. Now who does the Father say we are to listen to? "Then a cloud appeared and covered them, and a voice came from the cloud said: "This is my Son, whom I love. Listen to Him!"" Mark 9:7 Notice Jesus always said, "But I say to you". If we are going to call Him Lord we must do what He says. ""Why do you call me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say?" Luke 6:46

Lovely post Sateigdra,
I love the way that when we are born again we become a babe in Christ, and are taught line upon line, precept upon precept, through the counselling, comforting and teaching provided by the gifts of the Holy Spirit, until we become fully mature in Him. 'As a man thinks so he is', and the contradiction between the 'outside' and the 'inside' has to be taken away, and it can only be done when we 'act' on the spiritual 'mana' given to us instead of just 'hearing' it.

God bless you Sateigdra - let us all do our best to 'hold fast that which is good'.

Hi Sateigdra,
I just came over to your blog and noticed my picture was not on your follower list. It may be because I changed my pic on my blog as when I tried to put my new picture up to be added on your follower list a message came up saying the new pic could not be put on because it was too large, so I have put the old one on.

Sateigdra,
I was led to look at your comments on one of my posts today, and this sentence stood out to me.

'in one dream I was even being dressed by some people although it wasn't my wedding.'

I absolutely believe that your dream spiritually speaks about false teachers and pastors in God's church today.

I hope you are well, and I feel led to say that I believe the Lord would have you to share all of what you have put in your comments in that post of mine in a post on your blog. I believe that is why we have dreams and I believe that your dream is a warning to believers.
Please pray about it and I will too.
If we share what we feel led to share then we have no blood on our hands, and there is a time for everything.
God bless you Sateigdra.

Thank you Brenda, this comment is so very encouraging. Warning people about false teachers has been what I have been doing for months now. I share on this topic on social media and I blog on this topic as well. I hope you get to check out my wordpress blog sometime. It's redlikecrimson.wordpress.com I really appreciate your comment, it's so encouraging to me. I have been praying for God to help me to understand the meaning of these dreams I have. Perhaps I should share on this topic here on blog spot as well.

God bless you Brenda.
